Short version: I collect what I need to answer you, build your project and bill for it. Nothing more. I have never sold or rented anyone's data and I never will.

§01

What I collect

Only what you hand over, plus basic traffic numbers. In practice that is:

  • When you contact me or request a quote: your name, email, phone if you give it, company, and whatever you write in the message.
  • When you run the free website check: your email and the site address you asked me to scan.
  • When you book a call: your name, email and the time you picked, handled by my scheduling tool.
  • If you become a client: the details needed to do the work and invoice it, including billing records and anything you send me for the build, such as copy, photos and logins.
  • Site traffic: which pages were viewed, where the visit came from and the browser type. Your IP address is turned into a one-way code so repeat visits can be counted without storing the address itself.
  • Analytics and ad measurement: this site also loads Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel. They set their own cookies and tell me how many people visited, which pages they read, and whether an ad or post led to an enquiry. Both load only after you interact with the page, or a few seconds after it goes idle, so they are not running the instant you arrive.
  • Email activity: whether an email I sent you was delivered, bounced or opened, so I know if my messages are reaching you.

I do not ask for, and have no use for, sensitive personal information such as government IDs, health details or card numbers. Card payments are handled by the payment processor, so I never see or store a card number.

§02

Why I collect it

To reply to you, quote the work, deliver it, support it and get paid. That is the whole list. If you ask to hear about something later, such as a service that has not launched yet, I keep your email for that too, and every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe at the bottom.

Traffic numbers exist so I can see which pages earn enquiries and which ones waste your time, and the ad pixel exists so I can tell whether money spent on ads actually produced work. I do not use any of it to build profiles about you personally, and I do not upload your email or phone number to an ad platform to target you.

§03

I never sell or rent your data

Flatly, and with no exceptions: I do not sell, rent, trade or broker personal information, and I do not hand your details to anyone for their own marketing. There is no arrangement under which that could happen.

The only outsiders who ever touch your data are the tools that make the studio run, and they act on my instructions only: the company that sends my email, my scheduling tool, my payment processor, the analytics and ad measurement tools named in §05, and the hosting and database providers that keep the site and records online. Each is used for its own narrow job and nothing else. If I am ever legally required to disclose something, I will comply, and will tell you unless I am barred from doing so.

§04

How long I keep it

Enquiries that go nowhere: removed within about two years of the last contact, or sooner if you ask.

Marketing contacts: kept until you unsubscribe. After that I keep your email on a suppression list, because that is the only reliable way to guarantee I never email you again by accident.

Client records: project files and correspondence for the life of the engagement and roughly two years after, so I can support what I built. Invoices and payment records are kept for seven years, which is what tax rules require.

Traffic counts: kept as aggregate numbers. They contain no name, no email and no raw IP address.

§05

Cookies and what sits in your browser

Two outside tools set cookies here: Google Analytics, which counts visits and pages, and the Meta pixel, which tells me whether an ad or a post led to an enquiry. Neither loads until you interact with the page or it has been idle for a few seconds, and you can stop both at any time by blocking third-party cookies in your browser, using a tracker blocker, or turning off ad personalisation in your Google and Meta account settings.

My own counting is lighter: a random visit code, a note of which page or link brought you here, and which notices you have already dismissed. That part sits in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, it never leaves with your name attached, and clearing it only means the site forgets you dismissed a banner.

Nothing on this site needs cookies to work. If you block all of them, the pages still load and the forms still send.

§06

Your choices

  • Ask me what I hold about you and I will tell you.
  • Ask me to correct anything that is wrong.
  • Ask me to delete it. I will, apart from invoices and payment records I am required to keep, and the suppression entry that stops me emailing you again.
  • Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link at the bottom of it. It takes effect immediately, and project and billing emails still reach you.

Email design@mozeid.com and say what you want done. I handle these myself, so expect a reply within a few business days rather than an instant automated one.

§07

Security, honestly stated

Data sits with established hosting and database providers, moves over encrypted connections, and the admin side of this site is password protected. Access is limited to me and anyone I bring onto your project.

No one can promise perfect security, and I am not going to pretend otherwise. What I can promise is that if a breach ever affected your information, I would tell you promptly and plainly rather than quietly.

§08

Children

This is a business-to-business studio. The site is not aimed at children and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If that ever happens, tell me and I will delete it.

§09

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the site rather than slipped in quietly. The Master Terms & Conditions cover the contractual side of working together.
